Congratulations
to McGraw-Hill Education,
the winner of the first AEP Talent Development Innovator
Award!
About
the Award
Through
the Talent Development Innovator
Award program, established through the
support off Nelson B. Heller, Ph.D., our goal is to
encourage innovative practices in recruitment and professional
development to ensure that educational publishing continues
to thrive and serve the next generations of educators
and students. The Award works in concert with AEP's
Improving
Learning Resources through Diversity (ILRTD) project,
which is funded in part by the State of Pennsylvania
through the Department of Community and Economic Development.
ILRTD
seeks to create jobs and improve educational outcomes
through rigorous recruitment of minority professionals
into the educational publishing field. This initiative
aims to reduce unintended cultural bias in instructional
materials by shaping an industry work force that more
accurately represents the face of America's classrooms.
