Continuing the conversation from the
2010 Content in Context Conference, this December's
CEO Roundtable will take an in-depth look at the new
players in our industry and why we need to broaden
our view of potential competitors and partners.
The
morning session will focus on the new landscape
of the publishing industry where no-inventory and
on-demand are becoming a way of life. This session
will also cover the impact of federal policy on the
instructional materials market - more specifically,
how new funding may support open source products.
The
afternoon will cover other forms of new competition
(or new opportunities): open source, international,
e-book, and mobile content.
As
always, the opening and closing sessions will be
followed by hour-long roundtable discussions amongst
attendees with input and direction from the day's
presenters.
