the Hall of Fame
The educational
publishing industry's highest individual honor, the
Hall of Fame recognizes those who have dedicated their careers to
the advancement of educational resources and the industry that develops
and supports them. The annual
Hall of Fame Breakfast and Induction ceremony is
a celebration not only of these individuals and their achievements,
but of the industry as a whole.
Notable
Hall of Fame honorees include Fred
Rogers, founder of Family Communications Inc.; Dick
Robinson, Chairman of the Board, President, and Chief
Executive Officer, Scholastic Inc.; Joan
Ganz Cooney, co-founder of Sesame Workshop; and Dr.
Garry Cleveland Myers and Caroline Clark Myers, founders
of Highlights for Children.
Nominate
AEP
accepts nominations for the Hall of Fame throughout the
year. Any entries received after February 1 will be considered
for the following year. Once a person is nominated, they
remain on file for consideration. For more information,

To
nominate someone, answer the following questions:

How long has the nominee worked in educational publishing?
2.
What
are the nominee's contributions to the profession of educational
publishing (e.g., service with professional associations
and other activities as appropriate)?
3.
What are the nominee's professional accomplishments (body
of work, honors, positions)? Please be specific.
4.
What is the impact and significance of the nominee's lifetime
work?
5.
Finally, include a personal statement. What made you nominate
this person?
